Obligatory Blurb

About Me
I grew up in Hong Kong and moved to Silicon Valley in high school. After joining the robotics club, I decided I wanted to pursue engineering as a career. I'm attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obsipo, because I resonated with the Learn By Doing motto (and because I met the robotics club people who were meeting on a Saturday morning to work on projects and knew that was my calling). I started off as in electrical engineering hoping to master the dark arts but eventually switched over to computer engineering as I developed my interest in firmware and embedded systems. I'll be graduating in June 2020 (if all goes well) and will begin working in Silicon Valley. I'm a big believer in life-long learning, so my plan is to eventually go back for a masters once I've figured out what I want to specialize in. My passion is in robotics applications in biotech, and I'm especially interested in upper limb prosthetics.
Why a Webpage?
Resumes and LinkedIn profiles are kind of dry and boring, so I decided to create a website to showcase projects that I've worked on throughout the years. This way, I have pretty pictures to show off and to reminisce about the good ol' times.
Life Outside of Engineering
I like cooking and sharing food with friends and family. I also enjoy origami, dancing, and film photography.
